This program provides an opportunity for schools to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism throughout the student body and to recognize the students who have particularly distinguished themselves through volunteer work. Judging is on the state level and from there the national. Nominee should exemplary community service. Students in grades 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 are eligible to enter the school-based competition. A nationwide writing competition that provides high school students pursuing a college education the opportunity to express their views on allegiance. First place in each region receives $1,000 and the two national winners will receive $5,000. Open to Grades 9-12

Created to recognize top religion students in Catholic High Schools. Five $1,000 cash scholarships will be awarded. Awards more than $450,000 in scholarships to high school juniors and seniors who want to study culinary arts. Two grand prize winners will receive a full tuition, renewable scholarship to JWU – plus a personal meeting with celebrity chef, author and JWU alum, Tyler Florence. Open to all students in grades 9-12. The essay question asks students to analyze the role of natural resources in foreign conflicts. State winners receive a $1,000 scholarship and can compete for national awards of $10,000 for first place, $5,000 for second place and $2,500 for third place.
